The Metaliums project is now releasing its first AI-generated skin NFT and NFO. Creating a 3d model with cool skin takes time and skill but printing a real 3d object with the same characteristics and details takes more than that, a $200,000 state of the art 3d printer machine is needed. Metaliums’s team uses the best equipment to print its NFO (non-fungible objects) in multicolor polymers and some (NFO) objects will also be printed in exotic metals like stainless steel, brass, titanium, and even real 18k gold.

But what is an NFO?

NFO stands for the non-fungible object. nonfungible means UNIQUE. For example, Art and collectibles are often considered non-fungible because of their unique properties. Other examples, assets like diamonds, land, or baseball cards are not fungible because each unit has unique qualities that add or subtract value. For instance, because individual diamonds have different cuts, colors, sizes, and grades, they are not interchangeable, so they cannot be referred to as fungible goods. So Fungible refers to items or commodities that can be exchanged with other assets or commodities of the same type. An NFT is a unique digital asset that is not directly replaceable with another digital asset. Metaliums introduced the word NFO or Non Fungible Object since each collectible item has unique properties and characteristics and thanks to the blockchain it can now be easily verified by anyone. Luis, the creator of Metaliums said “In order to make an NFO, a barcode pointing to its NFT smart contract has to be embedded within the object itself” so an NFO is a new concept in the NFT space. Some experts consider NFO as the NFT 2.0 in the crypto space.
